BEHIND THE LENS

My name is Nicole Sumpter. I'm 25 years old and live in Hertfordshire - United Kingdom. I have always been interested in taking photos due to my father being a professional wedding photographer. He has taught me everything i know and if you like my photos then a big thank you goes to my father. He is my inspiration and my mentor. I have also trained at college in Digital Photography and gained knowledge in fields i did not know i was interested in. My love, however lies with animals. I am a big animal lover and often won't go a day without taking a photo of an animal; even if it's only on my phone.

I work part time as a second shooter for my fathers wedding photography business, and capture the emotion and many candid moments on the day. I also specialise in Photoshop, and do photo editing and touch ups for the company too.

I am also heavily involved in stock photography and providing photos for artists all over the world. My photography intended for stock use has exceeded 1.5 million views and i am in regular contact with artists and companies looking to use my images for art.

My most recent achievement has been the use of my images in a prestigious Ballet company in Alabama. They are using the photo as a backdrop for a production of Dracula!
